A Message in Carnations (2023)

"A Message in Carnations" is my collaborative senior thesis film with fellow SVA animation student Ricardo Peñaranda.

In a city during the middle of a festive celebration, a young girl named Para tries to avoid saying goodbye to her late grandmother by hiding from her mother. In her escape, she comes across a mysterious stranger, who gives her a living scarf that lets her see ghosts. Para is given the chance to see her grandmother one last time and learns about the importance of accepting her grief.
